Peter Twomey
My name is Peter Twomey and I am the third generation of Twomey to farm on Glenbrook. I live and work on the family farm in Cork alongside my wife Kate and 3 kids (Annie May , Tadhg & Florence).
I started my farming journey in 2001 when I returned home after a 3 year farm management apprenticeship to start up a milking herd.

Our Pigs
We get unbelievable satisfaction from seeing our pigs living in their natural habitat.There is no better sight than a 1 week old piglet with it’s snout buried in the ground.
All our piglets are born into a free range environment. We have no restrictions on our sows as they farrow, and we offer our piglets a safe area within the farrowing pen. We keep our piglets inside with their mother for one week so they can build a bit of body condition to negotiate outdoor living and be too big & strong for ‘Mr. Fox’ to eat !!.
